Previewing and Testing Emails

There are several different ways to preview the email outside of the editor.

The Content Preview shows the exact content of your email creative rendered in a new browser window, with all of the code snippets still visible.

The External Link to Creative(s) provides links to clean versions of your email with the code snippets removed and default variables used for any personalization .

The Quick Test can be used to either Send a Test Email, or Preview this Content Online. Sending a test email sends a test of the email, including the HTML version, plain text version, or both, to up to 5 email addresses.

Preview this content online allows you to see the email rendered in your browser as it would appear for actual subscribers from a Mailing List or Segmentation you choose. Click the icons along the top of the page depicting different devices to see the email rendered in different screen sizes, corresponding to those devices. This especially useful for emails that use Responsive Design.

These only test the design of the email. Link functionality is not the same as a real deployment and we recommend all emails be tested from the Campaign Manager to a Test List. No reporting is recorded for Quick Tests.
