New View in Browser Snippets

By now you are likely familiar with the View in Browser snippet, which lets the subscriber click a link in the email to see the content in their browser.  This is a great feature to add to your emails to help with readability (especially on mobile devices) and it's come to be expected by subscribers in their emails.  Today we added two new snippets to accompany that function: the View in Browser (no web version) snippet and the Hidden From Web Version snippet.

The View in Browser (no web version) snippet will let you include the View in Browser (VIB) link in the email without also displaying it in the version that appears in their browser.  This cleans up the VIB page to show only the content without the extra link.  For a before and after example, click here.

The Hidden from Web Version snippet will hide any content between the snippet tags from the web version in the browser.  This can be used to hide the sentence and link related to the VIB link, or it can be used to hide any other content you would like from the VIB page.  Just insert the snippet around the content that should be removed from the web version to hide it.  For a before and after example, click here.

For instructions on using this and other code snippets in your emails, visit the help guide.

This is a great update, thanks you. Question - I'm trying hard to internally guide people to never use 'click here' in any communications. I see you chose to do that here. Is there a reason?
